DANCE crews are taking to the stage at the Westgate Centre today as part of an event hosted by Dancin' Oxford.
Break dance, contemporary, African and Zumba are all types of dance that will be showcased at the shopping centre today.
The show kicked-off at midday with a breakdancing crew who danced to the beat of a drum.
Three professional companies are expected to perform as well as two youth groups and the audience can even get involved later today by doing Zumba and learning some African and street dance moves.
Claire Thompson, organiser and festival director, said: "We hold these kinds of events to take dance out of the theatre and into public spaces. Not all people see dance often - especially contemporary - so this gives them a chance to see it."
