A MAN has been banned from all pubs in Bicester after attacking a police officer.

Darren Evans, 42, of no fixed abode, admitted the assault which happened in Bell Lane, Bicester, on May 17.

He was sentenced to 28 days in prison at Oxford Magistrates' Court on July 10, and given a three-year criminal behaviour order.

The order bans him from entering any public house with a license to sell alcohol on premises in Bicester, and being in possession of an unsealed container of alcohol in a public place in Bicester.

He must also pay £115 compensation.
