MORE carers in Oxfordshire felt stress and financial difficulties than the national average, according to county council figures.
According to statistics put together by the authority, 63.5 per cent of carers said that caring had 'caused them feelings of stress'.
That increased from 58.7 per cent in 2016-17 in the county.
Across England, 60.6 per cent of people said caring had caused them stress.
More than half of people – at 51 per cent – said caring had caused them 'some' or 'a lot' of financial difficulties in Oxfordshire. In England, 46.6 per cent said the same.
