AN RAF sergeant completed a 24-hour bike ride around an air base in his latest fundraising effort.
George Day, 33, was joined by four members of the Air Traffic Control Squadron for the challenge around RAF Brize Norton.
The group cycled 534 miles combined to raise £600 for Blind Veterans UK, a national charity for ex-servicemen and women.

Mr Day decided to raise funds in honour of his great uncle, a Dunkirk veteran whose sight deteriorated badly in his 80s.
