POLICE are hunting for a man after a serious assault in Southampton.

Two men were reportedly assaulted by a group of three men.

One suffered concussion and the other suffered serious injuries to his hand and face.

The attack against the two 22-year-old men happened on May 21 in Bedford Place, Southampton.

At the time, police arrested a 19-year-old man as part of their investigation.

Police now want to speak to the man in the picture.

A police spokesperson said: "Can you help us identify this man? Do you know him? We have been carrying out a number enquiries over the previous months and are now in a position to release an image of a man we are also trying to trace in connection with this incident."
