A LEADING civil servant has urged South Oxfordshire District Council (SODC) not to withdraw its key Local Plan.
Tom Walker told Mark Stone, SODC's chief executive, critical funding for homes and infrastructure would be 'immediately' at risk if the authority pulls the programme.
Mr Walker, the director general of decentralisation and growth at the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, said doing that would also 'undermine' other projects that Oxfordshire authorities have been working on, including the Oxfordshire Housing and Growth Deal.
