PLANNED improvement work for the A34 needs to 'happen faster' after 10 people died on the stretch in a year.
Layla Moran, an MP for Oxford and Abingdon, has spoken out after a Parliamentary Question revealed that there were 495 causalities in 2018. She said major improvement work, that was shelved by Highways England until plans for the Expressway were finalised, needs to be done now and without anymore delays 'to make a difference to people's lives now'.
