JACK Brooks is one of nine former Oxfordshire cricketers in the inaugural draft for English cricket’s ‘The Hundred’ tomorrow night.

The new tournament, constituting 100 balls per innings, will get under way next summer.

The league will consist of eight city-based franchise teams, each of which will field a men’s and women’s side.

They are among 331 English players who will go under the hammer, which will be screened live on Sky and online by the BBC, along with 239 players from overseas.

Brooks will be joined by Will Beer, Miles Hammond, George Munsey, Delray Rawlins, Abi Sakande, Jack Taylor and Matt Taylor, all of whom have represented Oxfordshire.
