A SPECIALIST printers' Christmas fair featuring letterpresses, unusual papers and rare books will be held in Headington.
Oxford Guild of Printers will hold their traditional Wayzgoose event at Oxford Brookes University's campus on Saturday, November 2.
The free-to-enter stationery shindig, from 10am to 5pm, will feature more than 40 tables of letterpress equipment, fine press printers, specialist booksellers, paper suppliers and more.
Review: Popular pub falls short of expectations
A wayzgoose is a traditional annual outing or dinner held by a printing company for its workers, and the phrase is thought to come from a Dutch word for a banquet.
The Oxford Guild of Printers, set up more than 25 years ago, is a members' organisation for independent printers and book makers, mostly in the city but with some further afield.
