The Grade II-listed structure was originally built in the 1860s as two separate properties, housing J Russell & Co’s piano shop and the London and County Bank.

The restaurant will seat 182 diners. Its colourful artwork referencing the local area includes pieces depicting literature, the botanic garden and academia.

Oxford Mail:

There will be a private party for guests on Tuesday, before the brasserie opens to the public.
