Children and families enjoyed a magical start to the festive season when Santa made a grand arrival at a garden centre.
Rather than a sleigh, Father Christmas turned up at Notcutts Oxford Garden Centre in a vintage Rolls Royce. Last Sunday's visit saw him greeted by crowds to officially celebrate the start of festive fun at Notcutts, including opening the garden centre’s grotto.
Six-year-old Imogen Wilton was lucky enough to arrive with Santa and enjoy the first visit to the Christmas grotto after winning Notcutts’ festive drawing competition.
Notcutts’ winter grotto is now open for all, with children invited to meet Santa and receive a special gift.

Children can also enjoy a memorable breakfast or tea with Santa in the Notcutts restaurant, and dogs can join the fun too with a visit to the ‘furr-tastic’ Santa Paws pet grotto.
