A polling station
TODAY is the last day for registering to vote in the December 12 general election.
Residents can register to vote until midnight tonight at gov.uk/register-to-vote.
Anybody registered but unable to get to a polling station on the day can apply for postal or proxy vote.
The last day to send off a postal vote is also today, at 5pm.
But a proxy vote, where somebody votes on your behalf at their local station, can still be applied for until December 4 at 5pm.
