IN the run up to Christmas, Pye Homes is asking people to nominate good causes to receive a £2,000 donation.

The Kidlington-based developers are inviting visitors to their Hanborough Gate show home to suggest charities, groups and projects which they believe deserve to be recognised for their positive impact on the local community.

Suggestions need to be submitted via nomination forms, available at the show home open from 11am – 5pm, Thursday to Monday.

The deadline for nominations is 5pm on December 19 and the successful nominee will be notified and receive their £2,000 donation in the new year.

“We wanted to recognise the amazing work carried out locally by a host of good causes,” said Pye Homes’ managing director, Graham Flint.

“We wanted to show our support and appreciation for all those people who go out of their way to help others,” he added.

Anyone visiting the show home during this period will also be able to enjoy complimentary mulled wine and mince pies.

Hanborough Gate is a development by Pye Homes in partnership with Blenheim Estate Homes and features a selection of homes to the western side of Long Hanborough.

A total of 169 homes will be built by the end of 2021.
