SHOPPERS have taken to social media to share their anger after their Christmas shopping was delivered - without vital elements of the dinner.

Dozens of people have messaged supermarket giants Asda, Tesco and Sainsbury's over delivery blunders.

Several don't have a turkey and others have reported that half their digital baskets were 'wiped' and only a few ordered items arrived.

Some say they booked their delivery slots weeks ago - only to be told today (Dec 23) that their turkey was being substituted for a crown or drumsticks. Another said they had been given gammon instead of a turkey

On twitter, all three big supermarkets have apologised individually to customers and have said they are working hard to ensure deliveries are made on time and as expected.
