ROADS have been left submerged in water this morning after Storm Brendan tore through the county.

Fire crews and police officers have been out in full force rescuing drivers trapped on water-logged roads. 

This morning the Environment Agency issued 30 flood alerts for the county.

The government's team issued warnings for most of Oxford and parts of the county close to waterways. 

Oxfordshire County Council, the body responsible for the roads in the county, has also used Twitter to warn motorists of places to avoid.
