Here's what's for sale on the Thames Valley Police eBay page

Thames Valley Police use the auction website to flog off old evidence and goods seized from criminals in investigations.

They hold the items until they decide whether to give them away, bin them or sell them.

The eBay page is where all of the selling pile ends up.

The jewellery is being listed this week alongside 21 other items this week, like 'used' baseball bats and designer clothes from Dolce and Gabanna – but there's a catch.

The clothes have been left with holes in the back where security tags have been ripped out by thieves.

However the money raised gets pumped back into deserving causes in the Thames Valley, divvied up through a scheme run by the police and crime commissioner.

Here's the list of things for sale this week, accurate at the time of print:

• Grey single bed headboard. Condition listed as used and it is stained with marks on the front. 99p (0 bids)

• A bundle of nine black music stands. The condition has been listed as used and some of the pieces maybe missing or broken. £14.50 (11 bids)

• Carrera Vanquish black road bike in a size large. £62 (21 bids)

• Grey and orange Giant mountain bike for children. £14.50 (16 bids)

• A bundle of eleven yellow and white metal rings, belcher necklaces and two chains. The rings vary in large to small, with black, green and diamond stones. The condition has been listed as used because some of the stones are missing from the rings, and some of the rings may need reshaping. £1,235 (47 bids)

• A box of music equipment and lights from Yamaha, Acme, Martin Raptor. The condition has been listed as used, as some of the equipment might be broken. £10.77 (six bids)

• Two women's trousers in beige and black in size 22 and 20 and two jumpers, one green and one blue, still in the packaging in sizes 20 to 22. 99p (one bid)

• Red Dolce and Gabbana zip up hoodie in size 46, but listed as a possible size 36 instead. There is a hole in the back of the jacket where a tag has been removed. £10.50 (six bids)

• Shiny wet look blue leather look zip up hoodie from Dolce and Gabbana in a size 46, but listed as a possible size 36 instead. There is damage to the front of the jacket and at the back of the jacket under the hood. £1.20 (two bids)

• Roger Taylor Fun on Earth LP picture disc. Listed as being in a new condition. £4.20 (three bids)

• Bundle of hand tools and a socket set which have been used. £10.50 (five bids)

• Two baseball bats: one a Slazenger Aluminium and the other a copper orange wooden bat. Both have minor damage. £3.19 (two bids)

• Three 'Burner Superfast' golf clubs. One is a 5-iron, the other is a 6-iron and the third is an 8-iron. £4.20 (two bids)

• Moss Bros suit jacket and trousers in a grey. The trousers are size 38s and the jacket is a 44s. £6.50 (six bids)
