A 32-YEAR-OLD man has appeared in court charged with assaulting a person with the intention of committing a sexual offence.
Adam Herbert, 32, of Batchelor Crescent, Bournemouth is alleged to have committed the offence in Egerton Road, Bournemouth on Friday December 20 last year.
He is also charged with two offences of displaying any writing, sign or visible representation with intent to cause harassment, alarm or distress in two separate incidents on November 11 last year.
The offences are alleged to have taken place in Wimborne Road and in Columbia Road, both in Bournemouth.
Herbert appeared before Poole magistrates court on January 10 and is due to appear before Bournemouth Crown Court on Thursday February 13.
Police continue to appeal for information about the alleged incidents and have urged the public to call officers on 101, quoting occurrence number 55200009795, or the free and anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.
