POLICE have shared a picture of a missing man leaving Waitrose days before he disappeared in hope that somebody will remember seeing him.

Officers have also asked residents who walk in Kennington, Radley and Boars Hill areas of Abingdon to keep an eye out for Robert Wilson, who was reported missing on Thursday.

He was last seen in The Holt at around midday, but with information from the public, it is now thought that the 76-year-old walked to Thrupp Lake before walking near to Radley College later that day.

He is described as a slim man who is around 5ft 9ins tall with short grey hair and a grey beard.

He wears glasses and usually is dressed in a bright blue rain coat, which he is pictured wearing as he left Waitrose on Tuesday.
