WEST Oxfordshire District Council is set to launch its meetings online.

A meeting of the full council will be held on May 13 with members attending via a dedicated video conferencing facility.

Members of the public will also be able to follow the proceedings on Facebook Live.

Council leader James Mills said: “It is vital for the democratic process that we hold these meetings as soon as possible.

“There may be some technological challenges but I am sure they won’t stand in the way of what will be a very welcome return to the debating chamber.”
