A WOMAN who stalked her ex-partner and his new lover, bombarding them with threatening and abusive messages, has appeared at court.

Micah Chrystal appeared at Oxford Magistrates' Court yesterday facing two counts of stalking.

The 23-year-old of Wadard's Meadow, Witney pleaded guilty to both offences.

Prosecutor Matthew Higham said the stalking involved two victims between June 4 and 9 this year.

Chrystal had been in a relationship with one of the victims but they had split up two years ago.

When the man embarked on a new relationship with a woman - the second victim - this 'upset' Chrystal.

She went on to 'harass' the pair in the run-up to the stalking.

Matters escalated when on June 4 Chrystal's ex-partner updated his Facebook relationship status.

This caused Chrystal to send a 'barrage of abusive messages.'

Among those messages she made numerous threats against his new partner saying she would 'f**k her up' and 'bust her face.'

Chrystal also sent messages to the woman before she was reported to the police.

She was warned about her behaviour and signed a 'community resolution' agreeing to not contact the pair.

Despite this Chrystal went on to send more threatening messages soon after.

She sent more than 100 messages to her ex-partner and called him 22 times.

Chrystal was arrested on Monday night before pleading guilty at court yesterday.

In mitigation Richard Demczak said her client - a full-time carer - was 'frustrated' due to problems involving child contact.

He asked the court to prepare a pre-sentence report on behalf of his client before sentencing.

Magistrates agreed to adjourn the case while the National Probation Service prepare a report on Chrystal. She was bailed to appear again at the same court on July 8 for sentencing.
