A GIANT skeleton at Oxford city centre warned passersby of a 'climate emergency'.
Armed with banners, activists from Extinction Rebellion marched to Bonn Square to lobby Oxford West and Abingdon MP Layla Moran for a ‘green recovery’ from the coronavirus pandemic.
Earlier on Thursday, campaigners had delivered an open letter to the Liberal Democrat that read: "As we come out of coronavirus, the Government has a unique opportunity to reshape the economy.

"We need investment in cutting carbon and increasing green jobs."
The rally followed a 'damning' report published by the Government's Committee on Climate Change earlier this week on the UK’s failure to tackle the causes and effects of climate change.
