A HEDGEHOG mother carefully guides her offspring across the road in Enstone, near Chipping Norton, in these adorable pictures by Vicky Bott.
She said the dedicated parent started at 9am on Monday and didn't take her last baby hoglet across until approximately 7pm, with 'six or seven' eventually transported.
Ms Bott said: "It was such a wonderful thing to witness, especially when she picked up the stubborn baby (who refused to follow) in her mouth and stumbled down the curbside.
"Reminded me of a fed up mother."
