A POPULAR restaurant in the heart of Oxford is set to reopen today for the first time since lockdown began in March.
One of the city's best known eateries Gee's Restaurant and Bar will welcome hungry customers to its popular Victorian conservatory.
Preparations to reopen the site on Banbury Road earlier this week, which included finishing touches on new seasonal menus.
But Gee's managers have also introduced strict measures in place to ensure diners' safety.

Some of the restaurant's Covid-19 prevention policy includes 'scrupulous cleaning practices' and higher fan speeds to increase the ventilation rate inside.
Gee's is also trialling a motion sensor traffic light system in its public lavatories to prevent congestion and queuing.
Other measures include card-only payments, single-use recyclable menus, disposable napkins and reduced capacity.
Managers announced the reopening of the restaurant earlier this week and residents took to social media to congratulate them on the 'brilliant' innovations.
