The council warned that when sites do reopen, 'things will run differently at first, and not everything will be available in the initial stages'.
The council also said it aims to have the ice rink open by October, but said there was some maintenance to be completed before that could happen.
Assessments of other sites are still being made by the council along with its leisure partner Fusion, which manages the individual centres.
The council pointed out that it has foregone the income it would normally receive from its leisure centre operations, but has still provided a subsidy to Fusion since the start of lockdown.
