THOUSANDS of pounds were donated to Thames Vally Air Ambulance Service through the sale of plants, bug boxes and hedgehog houses.
After months of charity fundraising the Carterton Open Gardens group presented the service with a cheque for £4,452 in light of their 21st anniversary.

A spokesperson for the charity said: "We cannot begin to express our gratitude to our community for over two decades of support.
"We could not do what we do without you."
