INQUESTS of 18 people who died in the county will be heard at court this week. 

On Tuesday, from 10am, the coroner will conclude the investigations into the deaths of: 

  • Marley Oakes, aged 10 months, who died on August 7, 2019 at the John Radcliffe Hospital
  • Rose Outhwaite, aged 63, who died on April 3, 2020 in Banbury
  • Robert Wilson, aged 76, who died on April 5, 2020 in Culham 
  • Carmen Sherwood, aged 95, who died on April 8, 2020 in Mill House Nursing Home

From 1.30pm, the inquests will be opened into the deaths of: 

  • James Ritchie, aged 22, who died on May 2, 2020 in Witney
  • Louisa Austin, aged 52, who died on May 12, 2020 in Witney
  • Sivarama Devabathini, aged 37, who died September 3, 2020 in Royal Berkshire Hospital
  • Nafisa Paracha, aged 63, who died on September 11, 2020 in Churchill Hospital
  • Alexander Washburn, aged 46, who died on September 4, 2020 in Banbury
  • Freda Skeet, aged 83, who died on Septmeber 14, 2020 in John Radcliffe Hospital
  • Anthony Roberts, aged 43, who died on September 10, 2020 in Banbury
  • David Robinson, aged 72, who died on September 7, 2020 in Oxford
  • Ann Harper, aged 78, who died on September 14, 2020 in John Radcliffe Hospital

From 10am on Wednesday, the coroner will conclude the investigations into the deaths of: 

  • Charles Johnson, aged 58, who died on June 27, 2020 in Abingdon
  • Donna Smith, aged 39, who died on June 23, 2020 in Bampton
  • Jean Clifton, aged 86, who died on July 23, 2020 in John Radcliffe Hospital
  • Ronald Haynes, aged 92, who died on August 19, 2020 in Horton General Hospital
  • Elizabeth Eldridge, aged 90, who died on August 25, 2020 in John Radcliffe Hospital

At an inquest, the coroner will determine who the person is, how, when and where they came to their death.
