A LANDSCAPE gardener died after falling 5ft at work.

Andrew Guyan, 45, was hired to put up some fencing at Haywards Close, Henley, on June 25.

But at around 6.45pm he was seen by the neighbours lying face down unresponsive on the concrete path after falling from the house next door.

Nobody had seen him fall and when police and paramedics raced to the scene he was pronounced dead.

His official cause of death was from a head injury.

At an inquest at Oxford Coroners’ Court on October 7, assistant coroner Judith Leach said he had a history of blackouts in keeping with absence seizures.

She gave a narrative conclusion that he had a blackout doing the work which stopped him from being able to break the fall and save himself.
