A FLOOD alert is in place for parts of West Oxfordshire.
The Government’s online flood information service warns that as a result of recent heavy rain, river levels remain high, but are falling slowly on the River Windrush.
Although property flooding is not expected, flooding of low lying roads, paths and farmland is expected to continue over the coming days, especially in the Newbridge area.
Rain is set to move in from the north this evening and overnight, however river levels are not expected to rise in response to this rain.
