AN OXFORDSHIRE MP helped start construction at a new housing estate.
Witney MP Robert Courts was on hand at the fifty-home Marlborough Gardens development in North Leigh.
Mr Courts said: “I’m delighted to see much-needed, quality new homes being built in North Leigh, especially the affordable element for local people.

“Bewley Homes has a reputation for building superb developments that stand the test of time, in terms of their character within their settings.
“I look forward to coming back and having a look around the show home when it opens next year.”
Andrew Brooks, managing director at Bewley Homes, added: “Robert was genuinely interested in building quality new homes in the area.”
