OXFORD MAGISTRATES' COURT

LEWIS PIZZEY, 23, of Vanner Road, Witney, admitted driving at 76mph in a 50mph zone on October 3 in Yarnton. He was fined £369, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £37 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

JONATHAN ROYCROFT, 58, of Appleton Road, Oxford, admitted driving at 52mph in a 30mph zone on Eynsham Road, Oxford. He was fined £500, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £50 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

CLARE SCHREIBER, 56, of Cleveley Road, Enstone, was convicted of driving at 42mph in a 30mph zone on the A4095 Grove Road in Baldon. She was fined £440, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £44 and court costs of £90. Her driving licence was endorsed with four points.

NATHAN VANDERHYDE, 30, of Blakes Avenue, Witney, was convicted of driving at 43mph in a 30mph zone on the A40 on North Way, Oxford on July 20. He was fined £440, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £44 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with four penalty points.

REENA VIKAYAN, 34, of Kingsclere Road, Bicester, admitted driving at 38mph in a 30mph zone on the A4144 Woodstock Road, Oxford, on June 20. She was fined £40, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. Her driving licence was also endorsed with three penalty points.

MICHAEL WITCOMBE, 56, of Moley Gardens, Wantage, admitted driving at 39mph in a 30mph zone on Amersham Road, Little Chalfont, on August 18. He was fined £40, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with three penalty points.

LINTONG ZHANG, 29, of Park Close, Oxford, admitted driving at 35mph in a 30mph zone on Rose Hill, Oxford on June 20. He was fined £40, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with three penalty points.

PAUL EVANS, 59, of Botley Road, Oxford, admitted breaching a community order made by Oxford Magistrates’ Court on January 2 by failing to attend appointments on February 20 and March 12, 2020. He was fined £300 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £60.

MALCOLM PLAISTED, 33, of Abingdon Road, Oxford, admitted stealing £34 worth of alcohol from Tesco on Cowley Road on December 3. He was jailed for 14 days and ordered to pay compensation of £34.

CHANTELLE FOGARTY, 25, of The Oval, Didcot, admitted drink-driving at Gloucester Green, Oxford, on December 13. She had 42mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mcg. She was fined £150, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85. She was also disqualified from driving for 12 months.

KIERAN LYLE, 32, of Meadow Way, Faringdon, admitted stealing bottles of whiskey and Bacardi, costing £33.50 and £17, from Waitrose in Faringdon on October 22, and cosmetics costing £50 from Boots in Faringdon on July 14. He was made subject to a community order and must participate in an activity with a responsible officer for 12 days. He must also pay compensation of £105.50.

SHAHEEN SYED, 43, of Hurst Street, Oxford, admitted stealing £240 worth of alcohol from Tesco on Cowley Road on November 11, November 2, October 19, September 18, September 15 and September 8 as well as stealing two electric toothbrushes, costing £60 each, from Sainsbury’s in the Westgate Centre on August 15 and September 26. He was made subject to a community order and must have treatment for his drug dependency under the direction of the probation office for 14 months. He must also pay back £360 in compensation.

FRANCO IMBRIANO, 18, of Frederick Road, Oxford, admitted assault by beating between May 19, 2020, and June 1, 2020. He was discharged conditionally for one year and made subject to a restraining order. He must also pay compensation of £50, a victim surcharge of £22 and court costs of £85.

ANSIE LANDSBERG, 40, of Hurst Street, Oxford, admitted three counts of assault by beating on May 26 and stealing £17.86 worth of food from Tesco in Oxford on the same day. She was ordered to pay compensation of £180.

THOMAS SHEEHAN, 19, of Chestnut Close, Brize Norton, admitted drink-driving on Burford Road, Carterton, on August 23. He had 54mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mcg. He was fined £320, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85. He was also disqualified from driving for 12 months.

ALEX STAFF, 21, of Haldane Road, Oxford, admitted drug-driving in Oxford on July 12. He had 7mcg of cannabis per litre of blood, above the legal limit of 2mcg. He was fined £310, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85. He was also disqualified for driving for 12 months.

MIRCEA BALANESCU, 41, of Ruscott Avenue, Banbury, was convicted of driving in a public place without a licence or third party insurance on November 24 in Banbury. He was fined £880, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

TAFFYN BETNAY, 30, of High Cross Way, Oxford, was convicted of driving without a licence or third party insurance on October 16 in Oxford. He was fined £880, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

LEANNE BROWN, 30, of North Drive, Harwell, admitted speeding in a 30mph zone on Abingdon Road, Rowstock, on November 21. She was fined £37, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. Her driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

SAMUEL COOPER, 29, of Valence Crescent, Witney, admitted driving without third party insurance on August 19 on Duckington Lane, Witney. He was fined £120, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with six points.

ARTHUR CRABBE, 29, of Reading Road, Harwell, admitted speeding in a 30mph zone on Abingdon Road, Rowstock, on November 21. He was fined £700, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £70 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.
