A PLANNING application for initial refurbishment of the Red Lion Hotel in Henley-on-Thames is in the consultation period.
The hotel plans to decorate and renew guest rooms and make alterations to specific ground floor sections of the building including the Regatta Restaurant. The building footprint will not change.

However, resident David Beadle from 23 Thameside, suggested that plant equipment on the roof of the hotel, as shown in the plans, could be “noisy and unsightly”.
The consultation period ends on March 5.
