RESIDENTS have the opportunity to tell their local council their views with regards to how open spaces are operated.

Witney Town Council has launched a survey, with the aim to learn more about how to manage local green spaces.

The council issued a statement, which read: “Never has the importance of outdoor spaces been more evident than during the current pandemic.

“Witney Town Council recognises the huge value and benefits to its residents of the green spaces it manages on behalf of the town and is looking to future-proof these by formulating a comprehensive open spaces strategy for all our current spaces and any future acquisitions.

“We would like the strategy to reflect the views of residents, so that we can provide a service that meets the needs of all our communities now and in the future.

“Your responses to this survey, your perceptions and satisfaction (or otherwise) with these services, will inform the framework for how we manage our local green spaces and their associated facilities.”

The survey can be found by on the town council website, its app, or via social media via the council’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
