Local musicians are set to play on a new stage nestled among trees at Foxburrow Wood as part of the Wychwood Forest Fair.
Musicians including Torrin, Cigani Knees up, 1000 Mile Highway and Laura Jones form the line up.
“The musicians will perform in the conservation dome at Foxburrow Wood, surrounded by trees, which we hope will be really atmospheric,” said Miranda Davies, communications and events manager for the Wychwood Forest Trust, a conservation charity working to restore habitats in the historic Wychwood area—today’s West Oxfordshire.
“We have never had a music stage at the Wychwood Forest Fair before and can’t wait to see what it brings to the event.”

The Trust bought Foxburrow Wood in 2009 using proceeds from previous Fairs.
Originally a grazed field of little more than grass, today the space is transforming into a thriving nature reserve as wildlife gradually recolonizes it for residents of Witney and beyond.
This year’s Fair will include stallholders plus entertainment from morris dancing to falconry, pole-lathing to s’mores over a campfire.
