A COUNCIL is looking for a volunteer DJ for its weekly tea dance.
Witney Town Council is seeking the DJ as it looks to reinstate the dance at the Corn Exchange.
The pandemic forced the suspension of the event, however now the Corn Exchange has reopened, the council is hoping to get the tea dance going again on Wednesday afternoons.
However, the resident DJ has retired hence the need to seek out a replacement.
A town council statement read: “We have had enquiries from dozens of disappointed dancers and would-be waltzers, and would love to be able to bring the dance back for them, so if you can commit to a couple of hours every Wednesday afternoon, please let us know.
“We have all the sound equipment.”
