Positive cases of coronavirus in Oxfordshire have risen by 408 in the latest figures.

No deaths was recorded in the county, in the latest statistics, released by the Government.

The new cases were recorded as follows:

Oxford (73)

• Cherwell (106)

• South Oxfordshire (86)

Vale of White Horse (86)

• West Oxfordshire (57)

These latest figures mean there has now been a total of 81,917 recorded cases of Covid-19 in the county.

A confirmed case is someone who has tested positive for coronavirus.

Across the country 37,243 new people had a confirmed positive test result reported today.

Between 10 November 2021 and 16 November 2021, 273,928 people had a confirmed positive test result. This shows an increase of 14.6 per cent compared to the previous seven days.

There were 214 deaths within 28 days of a positive test for coronavirus reported today.

Between 10 November 2021 and 16 November 2021, there have been 1,035 deaths within 28 days of a positive coronavirus test. This shows a decrease of -10.8 per cent compared to the previous seven days.

The latest vaccination figures reveal that more than 51 million people have been given a first dose, while more than 46 million people have been given a second dose.
