A Christmas card designed by a nine-year-old will be sent out to prestigious clients and prospective buyers by a Burford estate agency.

William Harrison has been announced as the winner of the annual competition run by Jackson Stops.

William, who is in Year 5, was picked from 20 entries drawn by Burford Primary School pupils.

The agency, which has donated £200 to the school, were delighted to present him with a chocolate and sweets hamper.

Witney Gazette: Winning design

Headteacher Adam Clark said: "We were really pleased to take this opportunity to work with Jackson Stops - the children have been really excited by the competition, and the generous donation they made to us will be used for new equipment in the Art Department.

"It is great to see a local business caring about the young people in the community and contributing to the facilities we can offer them."

William said he was very shocked and happy that the entire hamper was his!
