OXFORD United yesterday confirmed they have earmarked land at Stratfield Brake for a new stadium.
The club have made a formal proposal to Oxfordshire County Council to lease the sports ground, near Kidlington, with a view to seeking planning permission for a new ground and complementary facilities.

Several community teams currently play at Stratfield Brake, including Gosford All Blacks rugby club and Kidlington Cricket Club.
