After a second year of online interviews, on January 11, more than 3,600 students received offers for a place at Oxford University to study for their undergraduate degree.
According to the University, this year, more than 69 per cent of the offers to UK applicants have gone to students educated in the state sector, up from 59.1 per cent in 2016.

In a statement, the University congratulated all successful applicants. It also mention its commitment to offering fair access to all candidates, as early indications point those admissions from under-represented social groups continue to grow in line with last year’s figures.
This is the second year that interviews have been hold online as a result of the pandemic. In December more than 20,000 interviews took place across the colleges.
