After Ant and Dec's prank on Jeremy Clarkson was aired last night, the TV presenter made a joke about the police in Chipping Norton.

In the first episode of the new series of Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, the pair pulled off a prank in which actors pretended to be protesters who were passionate about soil and its feelings and showed up to Jeremy Clarkson’s Diddly Squat Farm, near Chadlington.

Towards the end of the prank, actors pretending to be police officers arrested Jeremy.

After the prank was aired, back in the studio Ant and Dec interviewed Jeremy who said: "Can I just make one small tip. I've got just a suggestion. The police that you used there, I said to them: 'where are you from?', they said: 'Chipping Norton'. I said: 'what, in stab vests?'. It's not an issue there."

Ant and Dec also got involved in the prank as protestors with the help of disguises including wigs and face masks.
