A virtual public consultation has been launched by developer Barratt David Wilson Southern (BDW) for proposals to build 350 to 400 new homes and supporting infrastructure near Ducklington.
Members of the community and the public are invited to view and comment on the plans, which include 40 per cent affordable homes, by visiting the dedicated project website: www.LandSouthofWitney.co.uk
It includes a virtual exhibition section, online feedback facility and options to download the consultation materials.
The consultation runs from March 16 to March 30.
Barratt David Wilson Southern (BDW) said the proposals have been designed to provide "a sensitive proposed extension to Witney, which can sustainably address the established housing shortfall in the district, while also providing new supporting infrastructure".
The site forms part of land put forward to the Oxfordshire Plan 2050 as a potential location for growth outside the Green Belt, it said.
It includes "new and affordable homes, significant areas of public open space, enhanced landscaping and new pedestrian and cycle routes".
A spokesperson said: “We look forward to receiving feedback from the community that will help inform and shape our proposals before we submit an outline planning application to West Oxfordshire District Council.”
