A new stand-up paddleboard school launches this weekend near Witney.

Moi’s SUP School will be offering lessons at The Rose Revived, Newbridge, and then during the week at Sunnymead Bathing Place in Oxford on the River Cherwell.

Moi Blackledge, a former instructor at Farmoor Reservoir, said: "Paddleboarding has become increasingly popular, especially over the last couple of years as it’s allowed people to get outdoors with natural social distancing measures.

"As a paddle board instructor I’ve noticed first-hand how therapeutic being out the water can be and that’s why the philosophy behind Moi’s SUP School is all about caring and giving back."

Witney Gazette:

The school is offering tailored lessons, SUP Yoga and tours and experiences, paddling out to explore Oxfordshire's waterways.

Ms Blackledge said: "I’m also delighted to partner with Oxfordshire charities Oxfordshire Mind and ADAPT, which each receive 10 per cent donation from all lesson sales and I’m also taking out their service users once a month for some on-water mental wellbeing therapy, starting May 16.
