THERE are a series of Oxfordshire links among the richest people in the south east, according to The Sunday Times Rich List.
Most notable are Sir Richard Branson, whose family lives at Mill House in Kidlington, and Wafic Saïd, the founder of Saïd Business School.
Also on the list is diamond trader Nicky Oppenheimer, a former University of Oxford student, and Denis Sverdlov, the founder of electric vehicle company, Arrival.
Mr Sverdlov has invested heavily in the Enstone-based electric vehicle business, Charge.

Mr Oppenheimer, who attended Christ Church, and his family ranked third, with a wealth of £6.456 billion, up £659 million.
Virgin Group founder Sir Richard Branson and family placed fifth, with a wealth of £4.2 billion, up £410 million.
Mr Saïd is eighth in the list, with his £1.985 billion wealth no change from last year.
Rounding off the top 10 was Mr Sverdlov, who is worth £1.397 billion, down £4.776 billion.
Kirsten and Jorn Rausing topped the list, with a wealth of £12 billion.
