INQUESTS into the deaths of seven people will be held over the next week.
The hearings, which take place at County Hall in Oxford’s city centre, will see the coroner answer four questions: the identity of the person who died, and how, when and where they came by their death.

Wednesday, July 6
10am - Mohammad Ameen, 36, from Banbury. He died in Banbury on January 20.
12pm - Venetia Eliot, 53, from Banbury. She died on March 9 in Banbury.
2pm - Alan Corney, 87, from Burford. He died at the John Radcliffe Hospital on February 19.
3.30pm - Jonathan Parfitt, 50, from Faringdon. He died on April 9 at the John Radcliffe Hospital.
Thursday, July 7
10am - Stephanie Chilton, 31, from Banbury. She died on February 18 in Banbury.
10.45am - Devon Wright, 22, from Witney. He died on the A40 near Stanton Harcourt Road, Witney, on March 18.
12.45pm - Joyce Pimm, 98, from Witney. She died in Witney on April 28.
Typically, a coroner will reach one of a number of conclusions, which is noted on the ‘record of inquest’. They include accidental death, road traffic collision, suicide.
Where the circumstances surrounding someone’s death are less clear, the coroner may record an ‘open’ conclusion or a ‘narrative’ conclusion where the facts are noted down.
