A popular pub described as 'a real pillar of the community' has reopened following a six-figure refurbishment.
The Golden Eagle on Black Bourton Road in Carterton has been "revamped and revitalised", said brewery Greene King.
The pub closed last month to undergo a full renovation of both the interior and outdoor areas.
Inside, structural changes have been made to open up the pub and maximise the space, increasing capacity by 24 covers.
The kitchen has been moved to the large cellar to create a bigger state-of-the-art area to match the pub's increased capacity.

And the decor has been updated with a contemporary, neutral colour palette, wood panelling and all new soft furnishings.
Football fans can enjoy the refurbished outdoor sports area which has been fitted with new TVs and a brand-new sound system, ideal for showing live sports which will be hosted year-round.
The beer garden has been significantly redeveloped, increasing the number of covers from 151 to 250 in time for summer.
And an undercover heated pergola has been added with new furniture, festoon lighting and TVs dotted around the space.
The pub is dog-friendly both inside and out.
The pub classics menu will remain the same, with weekly deals including a two for £12.49 meal deal, kids and seniors offers and a build-your-own-burger option on the menu.
Punters can also find a variety of popular new drink options available, including Birra Moretti, Madri and Thatchers Fusion.
The pub relaunched last week with an opening party for locals, featuring local bands, including a special appearance from The Lego Heads, DJs, an outdoor bar and family friendly games.
Thomas Wickham, general manager of the Golden Eagle, said: “A lot of work has gone into the refurbishments and the changes have completely transformed the pub. We’re proud of the renovation works and it looks fantastic.
“With Carterton being a small town with a large number of people, the pub is a real pillar of the community.

"The team is so excited to welcome guests back through our doors and show of our new and improved facilities just in time for summer.”
Alongside seasonal events, the pub will host a regular programme of entertainment, including weekly quiz nights, a monthly food challenge, and regular live music events.
The pub is now recruiting for a variety of roles from front of house to kitchen staff.
