The sale of a five-acre Oxfordshire land site has opened the door for 40 new houses.
The site's Cote Road location in Aston is five miles south of the West Oxfordshire market town Witney.
Land specialist TERRA was granted planning permission for the development in August for social housing provider Stonewater.

Land and development director of Terra, Jordan Langdon-Bates, said: "This deal marks the successful completion of this project’s lifecycle for TERRA but it is, of course, simply the first step towards making these new homes a reality for the West Oxfordshire community.
"We’re pleased to be leaving this vital housing infrastructure project in the hands of Stonewater and Living Space, both of which have fantastic track records in delivering high quality, affordable homes in the areas in which they’re most needed.

"Both partners approached this sale pragmatically and diligently, ensuring the construction of these new homes could get underway as swiftly as possible.”
Mr Langdon-Bates previously said West Oxfordshire's traditional housing stock "is considered largely unaffordable to those on lower income".
The build contract for the development will be overseen by Terra's sister company, Living Space.
Brize Norton, the UK's largest RAF base, is near the site.
Stonewater is a housing association formed by the merger of Raglan Housing and Jephson Group in 2015.
It owns and manages 32,000 homes with a turnover of £191 million.
