A young volunteer from Bicester said he loves "helping out" after reaching a significant milestone at a community event.
Eleven-year-old Ivan Stocker, a pupil at Southwold Primary School in Bicester, carried out volunteering duties at the town's parkrun for the 50th time as he was race director at a run last month.
When asked what he likes most abut his volunteering role, he said: "I love meeting with new people and helping out."
He started helping out at parkrun in 2018 when he was just six.
He started volunteering to get involved while the rest of his family were running at the event.
Ivan has carried out numerous tasks, including timekeeping, marshalling and barcode scanning.
Bicester parkrun is a 5k run that takes place every Saturday at 9am.
