A cake shop already well-known for its incredible celebration cakes is launching a new pancake menu.
The Cake Bakerie in West End, Witney, offers a range of cakes cookies and other sweet treats in its open kitchen and the business is now experimenting with evening openings.
Owner James Wymer said: "We’ve been here for two-and-a-half-years and the shop has evolved.
"This Saturday we’re launching an American pancake menu in the evenings and weekends."
He added: "It’s been driven by the community because it started with my wife Kellie baking big cakes and then people kept asking for takeaways and then coffee and then people were asking for evenings."

The couple ran the cafe at Cogges Manor Farm for four years but left eight years ago.
"My wife wanted to do the cakes from home as we’d had another child," said Mr Wymer, who works part-time for the ambulance service.
"We took over the shop because during the pandemic Kellie's Facebook page went mental.
"She’s got 30-odd thousand followers now and we were getting orders from all over the place so we took the shop on.
"It used to be my mum Liz’s wool and yarn shop Wymer’s and Co and she decided to stop because of the pressure of Covid so the shop has been in the family for the past eight years."
Mr Wymer will be preparing the pancakes with his eldest daughters Amelia, who works full-time in the shop, Elise and Freya.
He said: "We’re open until 8.30pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and we’re going to see how that all goes."
