A section of wall around an historic churchyard that collapsed has been repaired.
The Glebe wall - a glebe is land belonging to a benefice - at St Mary's churchyard in Witney had fallen down.
Witney Town Council is responsible for the closed churchyard at St Mary's under the Local Government Act 1972 and organised and oversaw the repair by specialist contractors Farcroft Group.
The work was carefully undertaken with salvaged and reclaimed stones in order to preserve the history of the wall.

These stones were mortared with a lime-based mix.
The medieval church has been the main Anglican and civic church for Witney for over 750 years.
Witney Town Council said: "It should be good for a few hundred more years!"
