THOUSANDS of users on the popular social media platform X have reported issues with the website, app and comment section.
Reports first began pouring in at around 8.30pm on Thursday, August 29 with around over 6,00 reports being made in just five minutes.
This rose to over 17,000 after 15 minutes.
The majority of the reports concern the app, which was formerly called Twitter, as it struggles to load posts and content.
Several users have moved over to Facebook and other social media sites whilst X is down.
Users are currently unable to make new posts or search terms as the issue continues to effect more and more users.
A reason is yet to be given for what has caused the problem and for how long it will last.
