Sir – Could I thank the shoppers and staff at Waitrose who were so kind and helpful when my son was taken ill in the store last Friday afternoon?
They were a real support in a situation of great stress for us both. They did not walk by on the other side. They would want to know that he is now better, and at home after tests and treatment in hospital. We are all most grateful to them.
